Steiner Stock Farm offers year-round internships.
The staff at Steiner Stock Farm realize the importance of hands-on experience
in the horse industry.
With this in mind, we offer three internships:
breeding/foaling (winter),
fitting yearlings (summer/fall),
general farm management (year round).
The purpose of the internships is to provide a positive, hands-on learning experience for young people
interested in the horse industry, specifically the Standardbred industry. Interns have the opportunity to select
from a list of objectives as well as present their own objectives for the internship. We will do our best
to provide an internship tailored to meet the needs and desires of the individual intern.
