Steiner Stock Farm will sell yearlings this year at the new
Indiana Premier Standardbred Sale and at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

Yearlings are brought from the pastures 10 to 12 weeks before the sales to put the final touches on looks and behavior.  They are expected to lead quietly, stand to be examined by potential buyers, and look their best from ears to toes.

Yearling Inspection - Which One Do I Want?

Each day, potential buyers inspect the yearlings.
They look at pedigree and conformation.
They are also able to view the yearlings in motion on video.

Getting Ready - A Trip to the Beauty Parlor

The yearlings must look their best in the sale ring -
complete with braided manes, slick faces, and shiny feet.

Sale Time - Your Number is Up

The yearlings are walked to the sales ring to be sold to the highest bidder.
